Refund Policy

We want you to love what you receive. Here is how returns, refunds, and cancellations work at HearthWitch Hollow.

30-day return window

You have 30 days after receiving a physical item to request a return. To be eligible, the item must be in the same condition you received it — unused, with original packaging — and you'll need your order number or proof of purchase.

To start a return, email us at info@hearthwitchhollow.com with your order number and a brief reason. We will respond with return instructions within 2 business days.

Please do not send items back without first requesting a return. Items shipped to us without prior contact cannot be processed and may be returned to you.

What is returnable

  • Tarot Card Box, in original unused condition
  • Tower Incense Burner, in original unused condition

What is not returnable

Because of the nature of small-batch handmade and personal-care goods, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned:

  • Spell candles, once they have been burned, unwrapped, or removed from their original packaging
  • Tarot readings, once we have begun the work (see Reading services — cancellations below)
  • Sale or discounted items
  • Gift cards

Spell candles are hand-poured in small batches. Slight variation in color, scent intensity, surface texture, and the way the wax sets is part of the craft, not a defect.

Damages and defects

Please open and inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If anything arrives broken, melted in transit, or different from what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@hearthwitchhollow.com with a photo of the issue. We will replace the item or refund it in full, your choice — no need to return the damaged piece.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get a different item is to request a return on the original, then place a new order for what you want. We do not process direct swaps.

Reading services — cancellations

Live readings (The Deep Dive, The Intensive)

You can reschedule unlimited times using the link in your booking confirmation email. Cancellations made at least 24 hours before your appointment receive a full refund. Within 24 hours of the appointment, we cannot offer a refund, but if a real emergency comes up we will reschedule once at no charge — just email us.

If we need to cancel a session for any reason on our side, you'll receive a full refund or a free reschedule, whichever you prefer.

Recorded readings (The Snapshot)

Recorded readings are non-refundable once we have begun the work. If you change your mind before we have started, email us within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund.

Return shipping

Customers cover return shipping for non-defective returns. We recommend a tracked service so the package can be confirmed received. We are not responsible for items lost in return transit.

For damaged or incorrect items, we cover the return shipping (or, more commonly, just send a replacement and don't ask for the original back).

European Union 14-day cooling-off period

If your order is shipped to a European Union address, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason. The same condition rules above apply (unused, original packaging, proof of purchase).

Refund processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email you to confirm whether the refund was approved. If approved, the refund is issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please allow another few business days for your bank or card issuer to post the refund — that part is out of our hands.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you still have not seen it on your statement, email us at info@hearthwitchhollow.com.
